We are pleased that Lesser Spot network volunteers are/have been monitoring eight nests as part of the project.
We have reported on some already and will give more details on them all soon. But we have just been notified of another nest in the New Forest so will be dashing off there tomorrow. Huge thanks to everyone who has been out in the woods searching for nests.

Don't confuse juvenile Great Spotted Woodpeckers with male Lesser Spots - they both have red caps!
